Description

Juicy and flavorful, these baked chicken thighs are seasoned to perfection and roasted until golden and crispy. A simple, versatile recipe that’s perfect for any night of the week!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Season the Chicken: Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Rub olive oil over each thigh, then season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  3. Bake: Place the chicken thighs skin-side up on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy and golden.
  4. Broil (Optional): For extra crispy skin, broil the chicken thighs for 2-3 minutes at the end of cooking.
  5. Serve: Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy with your favorite side dishes!

Notes

  • For a smoky flavor, add a pinch of smoked paprika to the seasoning blend.
  • Bone-in, skin-on thighs yield the juiciest results, but you can use boneless thighs if preferred—adjust the cooking time accordingly.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
