Description

This Baked Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken is a savory-sweet dish that’s both easy to make and packed with flavor. The combination of garlic, brown sugar, and a hint of soy sauce creates a deliciously sticky glaze that coats each chicken piece, making it juicy and irresistible. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion!

Ingredients

Scale
  1. 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  2. 1/4 cup brown sugar
  3. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  4. 3 cloves garlic, minced
  5. 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  6. 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  7. 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  8. Salt and pepper, to taste
  9. Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and ground mustard until well combined.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place them in a greased baking dish.
  • Pour the brown sugar garlic mixture over the chicken, making sure it’s evenly coated.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the glaze is caramelized.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, broil the chicken for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of cooking.
  • Serve with rice, roasted vegetables, or a side salad for a complete meal.
  • If you prefer bone-in chicken, increase the baking time by 10-15 minutes.
