Description

This blackened salmon recipe gives you a crispy, flavorful crust with a tender, juicy interior. Perfectly spiced with bold seasonings, it’s a quick and easy dinner option that’s both healthy and delicious!

 


Ingredients

  1. 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  2. 1 tbsp paprika
  3. 1 tsp garlic powder
  4. 1 tsp onion powder
  5. 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  6. 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  7. 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  8. 1/2 tsp salt
  9. 1/2 tsp black pepper
  10. 2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, thyme, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  • Rub the spice mixture generously on both sides of the salmon fillets.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the salmon for 4-5 minutes per side, until the exterior is blackened and the fish is cooked through.
  • Serve hot with a squeeze of lemon or alongside your favorite sides.
