- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)
- Tortilla chips or veggie sticks for serving
Instructions
- Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess grease. Add the taco seasoning and mix well.
- Combine Ingredients: Reduce heat to low and stir in the diced tomatoes, cream cheese, and sour cream until smooth and creamy.
- Add Cheese: Mix in 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and blended.
- Bake: Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 10-15 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm with tortilla chips or veggie sticks.
