Description

Ingredients

  1. 3 ripe bananas
  2. 1/2 cup melted butter
  3. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  4. 1/2 cup sugar
  5. 1 egg
  6. 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  7. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  8. 1/4 tsp salt
  9. 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork.
  • Stir in the melted butter, vanilla extract, sugar, and egg.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool before slicing and enjoying!

Notes

 

  • For extra flavor, sprinkle some chocolate chips on top before baking.
  • Store leftover banana bread in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
