- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork.
- Stir in the melted butter, vanilla extract, sugar, and egg.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
