Description

These Chocolate Covered Strawberries are the perfect sweet treat, combining juicy strawberries with a rich, smooth chocolate coating. They’re ideal for special occasions or as a simple indulgence!

 


Ingredients

  1. 1 lb fresh strawberries, washed and dried
  2. 8 oz semisweet or milk chocolate, chopped
  3. 2 oz white chocolate (optional, for drizzling)
  4. 1/4 tsp vegetable oil (optional, for smoother coating)

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Melt the semisweet or milk chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water (double boiler method) or in the microwave, stirring every 20-30 seconds until smooth.
  • If using, melt the white chocolate in the same way.
  • Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, swirling gently to coat.
  • Place the dipped strawberries on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Drizzle with white chocolate (if using) for decoration.
  • Refrigerate for 15-30 minutes or until the chocolate hardens.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Ensure the strawberries are completely dry before dipping to prevent the chocolate from sliding off.
  • For a decorative touch, you can sprinkle crushed nuts or sprinkles on the chocolate before it hardens.
