- 1 lb fresh strawberries, washed and dried
- 8 oz semisweet or milk chocolate, chopped
- 2 oz white chocolate (optional, for drizzling)
- 1/4 tsp vegetable oil (optional, for smoother coating)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the semisweet or milk chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water (double boiler method) or in the microwave, stirring every 20-30 seconds until smooth.
- If using, melt the white chocolate in the same way.
- Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, swirling gently to coat.
- Place the dipped strawberries on the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle with white chocolate (if using) for decoration.
- Refrigerate for 15-30 minutes or until the chocolate hardens.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Ensure the strawberries are completely dry before dipping to prevent the chocolate from sliding off.
- For a decorative touch, you can sprinkle crushed nuts or sprinkles on the chocolate before it hardens.
