- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 cup mixed dried fruits (raisins, cranberries, apricots)
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Activate Yeast: Mix warm milk and sugar, then add yeast. Let it foam for 5 minutes.
- Prepare Dough: Combine flour, salt, cinnamon, yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg. Knead until smooth.
- Add Fruits: Fold in the dried fruits and knead until evenly distributed.
- First Rise: Cover and let the dough rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
- Shape: Shape into a loaf or braid, place on a baking sheet, and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.

- Brush the top with butter for a soft crust.
