- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, beat together the cake mix, butter, cream cheese, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
- Roll the dough into balls, then coat in powdered sugar.
- Place on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden but centers are soft.
- Let cool slightly before dusting with additional powdered sugar.
Notes
- For extra holiday flair, you can add a few sprinkles or mini chocolate chips to the dough.
