Description

This Easy Crock Pot Beef Stroganoff delivers a rich, creamy, and comforting meal with minimal effort. Tender beef cooked in a savory sauce and served over egg noodles or rice makes for a satisfying dinner perfect for busy nights.

 


Ingredients

  1. 1 lb beef stew meat
  2. 1 onion, chopped
  3. 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  4. 1 packet onion soup mix
  5. 1 cup beef broth
  6. 1 cup sour cream
  7. 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  8. 2 cups egg noodles or rice, cooked

Instructions

  • Place beef, onion, mushroom soup, onion soup mix, and beef broth in the crockpot. Stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until beef is tender.
  • Stir in sour cream and Worcestershire sauce just before serving.
  • Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use reduced-fat sour cream and mushroom soup.
  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, add a slurry of cornstarch and water in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
