- 2 tbsp brown sugar

Instructions
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced bananas to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until golden and slightly softened.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar over the bananas and let it melt, stirring gently to coat the bananas in the caramel.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens and becomes a rich caramel color.
- Stir in cinnamon, salt, and vanilla extract (if using), then remove from heat.
- Serve warm, drizzled with extra caramel sauce if desired.
