Description

This hearty chopped steak is quick, flavorful, and perfect for a satisfying dinner. Tender ground beef is seasoned and pan-fried to perfection, making it a delicious meal that’s sure to please!

 


Ingredients

  1. 1 lb ground beef (80% lean)
  2. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  3. 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  4. 1 egg
  5. 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  6. 1 tsp garlic powder
  7. 1 tsp salt
  8. 1/2 tsp black pepper
  9. 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix everything until well combined and shape the mixture into 4-6 patties.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through.
  • Serve hot with your favorite sides!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, top the chopped steak with sautéed mushrooms or a dollop of gravy.
  • You can also make the patties ahead of time and refrigerate them until ready to cook.
