  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt

For the Cinnamon Swirl:

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Batter: In a bowl, combine mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  3. Make Cinnamon Swirl: In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Layer the Batter: Pour half the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter. Add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar. Swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Bake: Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool and Serve: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
