  1. 1 cup peanut butter
  2. 1 cup sugar
  3. 1 egg
  4. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  5. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  6. 24 milk chocolate kisses (unwrapped)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix together peanut butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and baking soda until well combined.
  • Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie while they are still warm.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure to let the cookies cool slightly before pressing the chocolate kiss to prevent it from melting too much.
  • You can use any type of chocolate kiss, but milk chocolate is traditional.
  • For extra crunch, you can roll the dough balls in sugar before baking.
