Description

These peppermint cheesecake bars are a festive treat with a creamy, velvety cheesecake layer topped with a refreshing peppermint twist. Perfect for holiday gatherings or whenever you crave something indulgent and minty.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • Crushed candy canes (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, press into the base of a greased 9×9-inch baking pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then cool.
  3. In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, add sugar, peppermint extract, eggs, sour cream, and flour. Beat until combined.
  4. Pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled crust and bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set.
  5. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  6. Garnish with crushed candy canes before serving.

Notes

For a stronger peppermint flavor, increase the peppermint extract to 2 ½ teaspoons. Ensure bars are fully cooled before refrigerating for the best texture.
