- 1 lb beef steak (thinly sliced)
- 1 bell pepper (sliced)
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 2 cups provolone cheese (shredded)
- 1 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 2 cups frozen hash browns
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the sliced onions and bell pepper until soft. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and half of the provolone cheese. Add the cooked beef and veggies.
- In a greased casserole dish, layer the hash browns, followed by the beef mixture. Top with the remaining provolone cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to use a different type of cheese, such as mozzarella or cheddar.
- For extra flavor, top with fresh parsley or serve with a side of ranch dressing.
