- Fresh basil or parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and bring to a simmer.
- Add the heavy cream to the sauce, mixing until it turns a light pink color. Season with salt and pepper.
