  1. 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  2. 2 cups apples, peeled and sliced
  3. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  4. 1/4 cup sugar
  5. 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  6. 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  7. 1/2 cup sour cream
  8. 1/2 cup sugar
  9. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  10. 1 egg

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the sliced apples in a bowl, toss with lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add the egg and mix until well combined.
  • Pour the cheesecake mixture into the pie crust, spreading evenly.
  • Arrange the spiced apples on top of the cheesecake filling.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, until the filling is set and the apples are tender.
  • Let cool before slicing. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • For a crispier crust, prebake the pie crust for 10 minutes before adding the filling.
