Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups shredded boneless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 24 wonton wrappers
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for baking or heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C) for frying.
- In a bowl, mix shredded chicken with cream cheese and buffalo sauce until well combined.
- Place one tablespoon of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water and fold over diagonally to seal.
- Fry in hot oil until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes) or bake on a lined sheet for 15-20 minutes until crispy.
- Drain excess oil if fried and serve immediately with your choice of dipping sauce.
Notes
- – For extra spice, add diced jalapeños or use a hotter buffalo sauce.
- – Leftover filling can be stored in the fridge for up to two days.
- – For a healthier option, brush the wontons lightly with oil before baking instead of frying.
