- 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 12 oz penne or fettuccine pasta, cooked al dente
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix the Sauce:
- In a large bowl, combine the Alfredo sauce, sour cream, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Combine Ingredients:
- Add the cooked chicken, cooked pasta, and half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses to the sauce. Toss until well-coated.
- Assemble the Casserole:
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Spread evenly and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top.
- Bake:
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
