- 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fajita seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Tortillas (flour or corn)
- Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, salsa, cilantro
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
- Add bell peppers and onions to the skillet. Sprinkle with fajita seasoning, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Cook for another 3-4 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.
- Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave.
- Serve the chicken and veggie mixture in the tortillas and top with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- Add extra jalapeños or use spicy fajita seasoning for more heat.
- For extra flavor, squeeze lime juice over the fajitas just before serving.
