- 12 frozen potstickers (pork, chicken, or vegetable)
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped bok choy or spinach
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Broth: In a large pot, combine chicken or vegetable broth, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Cook the Veggies: Add the sliced mushrooms, shredded carrots, and bok choy to the pot. Simmer for about 5-7 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.
- Cook the Potstickers: Carefully add the frozen potstickers to the simmering broth. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the potstickers are heated through and the soup is flavorful.
- Serve: Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with sliced green onions.
Notes
- You can use any type of frozen potstickers, or even make your own for added flavor.
- For extra heat, add a few drops of chili oil or red pepper flakes.
