- 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Layer the Ingredients: Spread pumpkin puree evenly in the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle dry cake mix over the pumpkin, followed by oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar. Pour melted butter over the top, making sure it’s evenly distributed.
- Bake: Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Serve: Let cool slightly before serving. Optionally, top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
