This German Chocolate Fudge is a rich, creamy, and indulgent treat that combines the classic flavors of German chocolate cake with a smooth, velvety fudge. Ingredients

  1. 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  2. 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  3. 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  5. 1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  6. 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  • Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or foil for easy removal.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter over medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Sprinkle the shredded coconut and chopped pecans over the top of the fudge, pressing them gently into the surface.
  • Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  • Once set, cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can use dark chocolate chips instead of semisweet.
  • To make it extra festive, drizzle the fudge with caramel or chocolate sauce.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
