- ½ cup almond butter (or peanut butter)
- ⅓ cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips
- ¼ cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine oats, almond butter, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until well combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts (if using).
- Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared pan and press down firmly.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
