Description

These Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies are soft, chewy, and packed with the perfect balance of pumpkin spice and sweet chocolate chips. Ideal for fall, these cookies are a comforting treat that everyone will love!

 


Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  2. 1 tsp baking soda
  3. 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  4. 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  5. 1/4 tsp salt
  6. 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  7. 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  8. 1/2 cup brown sugar
  9. 1/4 cup white sugar
  10. 1 large egg
  11. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  12. 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, cream together butter, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, white sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are golden.
  • Cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

  • For a more intense pumpkin flavor, add extra pumpkin spice.
  • These cookies are best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • Make sure not to overbake to keep them soft.
