Description

These Strawberry Brownies are a delicious and refreshing twist on the classic brownie. With the rich, fudgy texture of a brownie paired with the sweetness of fresh strawberries, this dessert is a perfect combination of indulgence and fruitiness!

 


Ingredients

  1. ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  2. 1 cup sugar
  3. 2 large eggs
  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  5. ½ cup all-purpose flour
  6. ¼ cup cocoa powder
  7. ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  8. ¼ teaspoon salt
  9. 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  10. ¼ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the chopped strawberries and chocolate chips, if using.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For an extra burst of strawberry flavor, swirl some strawberry jam or puree into the batter before baking.
  • These brownies can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days
