These Strawberry Kiss Cookies are soft, sweet, and packed with the delightful flavor of strawberry! With a kiss of chocolate on top, they’re the perfect treat for any occasion.

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 12 chocolate kisses, unwrapped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg, strawberry jam, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Roll the dough into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie as soon as they come out of the oven.
- Let the cookies cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger strawberry flavor, add more jam or use fresh mashed strawberries.
- You can substitute the chocolate kisses with other types of candy if desired.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
