Description

This Tuna Pasta Salad is a light, yet satisfying dish, combining tender pasta with flaky tuna, crunchy veggies, and a creamy dressing. Perfect for a quick lunch, picnic, or as a side dish at your next gathering.

 


Ingredients

  1. 8 oz (225g) pasta (elbow, penne, or fusilli)
  2. 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
  3. 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  4. 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  5. 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  6. 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  7. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  8. Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and rinse with cold water to cool.
  • In a large bowl, combine the tuna, celery, and red onion.
  • In a separate small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the cooled pasta to the tuna mixture and toss with the dressing until evenly coated.
  • Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Add any veggies you like, such as peas or bell peppers, for extra color and crunch.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
